TAQA Iraq’s pipeline welding training program sees graduation of third cohort

TAQA contributed financial support for the third cohort of trainees at the Pipeline Welding Center in Duhok Polytechnic University. TAQA launched a train-the-trainer program with the center for local instructors and a six-month training program for fresh graduates across three cohorts. Graduates of the program are accredited with an American Welding Standard. The goal of this program is to train skilled workers to supply the labor market and, through generating employment opportunities, to develop the local economy.
